How matching works
Most mentors are matched 6 to 8 weeks after applying.

Apply online
Set aside about 15 minutes to tell us about yourself.

We do the checks
Criminal history, registry check, three references, and a driving record for community mentors. We pay for it.

Meet with us
An in-person conversation of about an hour about your interests, schedule, and the kind of young person you would click with.

Train
Three hours, either one Saturday morning or two weeknights.
- 05
Meet your match
We use what you, the young person, and their parent or guardian told us. Your match specialist makes the introduction with the parent there.
You will have a match specialist the whole way through.
They make the first introduction, check in monthly, and help you keep the relationship moving forward.
